So Christmas has been and gone and 2012 is upon us. Same old story – ate too much, drank too little, and it all went by in the blink of an eye. Feels like only yesterday that I was sitting by my Windows 95 PC waiting for the millennium bug to hit, but I digress…

Continuing our 2011 recruitment drive, I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Snehal to the team. Snehal takes over Will’s Senior Account Manager position as he steps up to fill Rob’s Account Director position, who has himself stepped up to Managing Director. Still with me?

So it’s all change so far in 2012 (same as this time last year with our Herculian office move, the very mention of which is enough to reduce Roj to a jibbering wreck) and there’s further growth and expansion planned throughout the Jacob Bailey Group in the coming months – watch this space for further updates. Congratulations to Rob and Will and a very warm JB welcome to Snehal.

Snehal joins us with 8 years experience in marketing and advertising and a strong background in delivering fully integrated campaigns for a whole host of global agencies, including RAPP, SapientNitro, MRM and Ogilvy & Mather.

Past clients include: Verizon Business, Intel, Sky TV, Perkin Elmer Health Sciences, Unilever, Tata Sky, Heinz and many more.

Snehal is an avid movie buff – blockbuster hits, massive flops, doesn’t matter to Snehal. So she’s the one keeping the Twilight and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises going!

She says her goals for 2012, aside from delivering creative brilliance for her new clients, are jumping from 12,000ft and swimming with dolphins, which is either 2 separate activities or a new form of extreme parachuting!

Now there’s a New Year’s resolution for you.

Three more years…

After a recent review I’m pleased to announce that Jacob Bailey has been accredited with the BSi ISO14001 environmental management standard for another 3 years. This is great news – although we’re a low risk organisation it doesn’t stop us from striving to minimise the impacts that we do impose on our environment. We have…

How To Get The Elephant Into The Room

There’s one thing in our industry we should never overlook. I’m talking about the obvious. Because everything we do is geared toward taking an often complex series of ideas or messages and distilling them down to a pinpoint of absolute and undeniable clarity. So people just get it. Straight away. We’ll surprise and delight our…

It’s not all doom and gloom on the high street…

It’s always a great feeling to learn that our painstaking creative and strategic efforts have made a real difference. I’ve just found out that our It’s in Nottingham campaign, designed to let people know what a great place Nottingham is for shopping, has had a really positive impact on the city and given a huge…

Dans Le Noir is a concept restaurant with venues all over the world (including East London), where guests dine “in the dark” hosted by blind waiters. Our host for the night was a young, enthusiastic guy named Trevor. It’s somewhat daunting at first when you enter a pitch-dark room, but slowly you begin to discover…

2011 was a year most remembered for massive upheaval and change the world over. Revolutions and riots aside, other far-reaching shifts also occurred, including Brazil overtaking the UK as the world’s sixth largest economy. Brazil, who’d have thunk it? With what were once ‘developing’ nations now consuming, spending, producing and polluting as the West does,…
