The new Network Rail Archive website we built with Virtusa was launched successfully this morning and we’ve already had some brilliant feedback!
The online archive boasts drawings, blueprints and designs by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Robert Stephenson, Joseph Locke, William Henry Barlow and Sir Christopher Wren, to name but a few of the engineering giants whose work will go on permanent display for the first time.
Phase 1 features just a fraction of the archive, so fans of the 19th-century railway boom have plenty of trackside treats in store as the site gathers momentum.
We’re really pleased with the site and there’s a nice buzz building in the press and online community, so it’s full steam ahead to make this project a huge success!
