It’s Christmas jumper time

Posted by on Dec 10, 2013; 16:37

This year as part of our office annual party we are getting our Jumpers on! Christmas style. On Friday 13thDecember we will be going all out with our funky Christmas Jumpers in aid of Save the Children – who fight for rights and save the lives of children across 120 countries.

Please be part of this cause and donate £1 by texting TEAMJBJUMPAS1 to 70050.

It’s not a lot and can make a huge difference to children who have quite literally nothing.

Take a look at their Christmas Ad here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwZMWyvTm3M

Beanz Meanz – Five Beanz!

Posted by on Nov 5, 2013; 11:31

I’ve recently discovered the new product from Heinz which is the ‘Heinz Five Beanz’. I’m actually not a huge fan of baked beans; I will eat them as a last resort / if there’s nothing in the cupboard, but rarely do I say ‘I really fancy beans on toast’ or ‘I’m off to get a…

Earlier this year Coca-Cola launched their ‘Share a Coke’ campaign in the UK. It was first launched in Australia in 2011, where a 4% growth in sales was reported, with the campaign set to eventually reach over 30 countries in total. The campaign is the first time that Coca-Cola has replaced their iconic name and…

As the big 3-0 approaches (yes, I know my profile picture is very youthful!) I’ve been getting nostalgic about toys that I had back in the 80’s. Gifts I’ve been reminiscing about are my Thomas the Tank Engine train set, my Minnie Mouse roller skates, my Clarks ‘magic step’ shoes and my favorite toy of…

Now, you’ve either already seen it, heard it or, at the very least, know someone that has! Yes, I’m talking about the latest internet sensation – the “Gangnam Style” song. I was shown the video online a couple of months ago and ever since have had it frequently sung and danced at me. Initially I…

After a recent review I’m pleased to announce that Jacob Bailey has been accredited with the BSi ISO14001 environmental management standard for another 3 years. This is great news – although we’re a low risk organisation it doesn’t stop us from striving to minimise the impacts that we do impose on our environment. We have…

Our sister company White Space won the Environment category at the Anglian Business Awards back in July, so we thought we’d follow this up by entering the Jacob Bailey Group into the East of England Business Champions 2011. The awards event took place at Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire last Thursday and we had high…

As I’m sure you’re all aware, today is World Car-free Day! Thanks to our commitment to the Fresh Ways to Work scheme, the vast majority of our team already travel to/from work by walking, cycling or using public transport, but we’ve made an extra effort today to try to get everyone here sustainably. And we’d…
