I’ve recently discovered the new product from Heinz which is the ‘Heinz Five Beanz’. I’m actually not a huge fan of baked beans; I will eat them as a last resort / if there’s nothing in the cupboard, but rarely do I say ‘I really fancy beans on toast’ or ‘I’m off to get a jacket and beans…’
However I am a fan of getting a varied diet and when I noticed this suave, sophisticated black packaged can of beans staring at me from the supermarket shelf I just had to take a closer look.
As it states on the can, Five Beanz contains ‘a nourishing blend of five different types of beans’. I like the fact each bean is shown on the front complete with its name. Being able to choose from a variety of beans makes me feel like I’m making a healthier choice – all in one easy open can.
It’s the upmarket beans to me – my ‘posh’ beans on toast (I say to myself when I make it for lunch).
I’ve had quite a few already, and I’m not getting bored of them yet. I would actually go as far as to say that I actively look for them whenever I’m in a supermarket, because heaven forbid I don’t have a can of posh beans in my cupboard especially when they are now a regular accompaniment to my posh grilled breakfast on a Sunday!
Heinz actually say they are ‘Beanz for grown upz.’ And I would have to agree…
