You’re probably expecting an engagement pun?

Congratulations to JB account manager Danny and White Space account manager Nicola who are now married… Not to each other I hasten to add. There’s a close bond between the two sister companies, but not quite that close!

Nicola and James tied the knot in the Suffolk countryside last weekend before jetting off for a 3 and a half week honeymoon in Mexico – very nice too! They might have even crossed paths with Danny and Anj at the airport, as they would’ve been flying in from their honeymoon in Barcelona at roughly the same time. It’s alright for some, eh?

Alas, the Easter weekend is looking like a damp squib in more ways than one – it’s the first time in 3 weeks that we don’t have a wedding to look forward to!

The whole team would like to thank both couples for two splendid shindigs and wish them the very best for the future!

So Christmas has been and gone and 2012 is upon us. Same old story – ate too much, drank too little, and it all went by in the blink of an eye. Feels like only yesterday that I was sitting by my Windows 95 PC waiting for the millennium bug to hit, but I digress……

3 is the Magic Number

Veronica set off for pastures new last month and her’s were such big shoes to fill (metaphorically of course) that we had to recruit three new team members to replace her! That’s not strictly true… Account Manager Victoria (pictured, left) has actually been with us for a few months now. I know, I know, I…

Last week saw the annual Jacob Bailey / National Express softball match get into full swing (pun intended). It’s not so much a versus battle as a friendly game in the park with mixed teams, a fully-loaded picnic hamper and lashings of cold beer! Well, I say friendly… It always starts out that way, but…

Ok, so a full round-up would be premature, but we thought we’d let you know what’s been keeping us busy for the first half of the year… We kicked things off with an activity (or should that be, ordeal) that usually tops the “Most Stressful Experiences” list. Yup, we moved. Christmas ranks pretty high on…

The Royal Weeding (it’s a pun not a typo)

Posted by on May 10, 2011; 09:01

I spent the extra day off weeding my veggie patch with a cold one close to hand, but apparently something nearly as important was going on at Westminster… I’m not a massive fan of weddings, so last month’s shindig didn’t exactly have me dancing a merry jig. In fairness, I’m little more than ambivalent when close…

…and got the expected results, plus a few surprises. Anyone who knows Dunk, our Senior Digital Designer, won’t be in the least bit surprised to discover “on the bog” came his eloquent retort. Sooooo predictable. And yet, the science kinda backs it up… Apparently being distracted from the thought process helps the brain find clarity,…
