We’re lovin it!

So, it’s been a rather hectic week here at JB Towers, with client approvals, artwork rolling out, creative design sessions and ending with a whole lot of lovin!

Roj is super excited to see his dreams finally come true – being able to watch all his favourite Marvel action heroes together on the big screen as the Avengers Assemble. His local multiplex can expect a boost to their takings as he’s planning at least a couple of viewings to take it all in. It was a joy to see him share his love of comics and there was a certain child-like sparkle in his eyes when he showed us the trailer.

Roj also introduced us to ‘Dear’ an album by Keaton Henson. What’s interesting about his music is that it was recorded entirely in his bedroom. Not Roj’s bedroom, Keaton Henson’s… anyway, you get the point.

Ben’s been getting to grips with the more complex, under the bonnet aspects of Adobe software this week and is lovin’ what he’s seen so far, while Rob C couldn’t believe his luck when Danny took him up on the offer of an impromptu drink. Danny’s now the London accounts team leader, so his time is a precious commodity – Rob did very well to get an appointment!

So where does Danny spend his even more precious freetime? As a newly married man of a certain age, there’s only one place you’ll find him of a weekend… in his new shed.

Abbie is simply ecstatic, as she’ll be holidaying for the whole of next week. Who wouldn’t love that feeling?

Andrew’s lovin’ no longer being in any physical pain after last week’s tumble. I’ll miss the sound of his joints creaking everytime he moves – bless him.

And finally, this week I’ve been lovin’ a bit of perspective. I stumbled upon this exciting interactive website The Scale of the Universe and it simply humbled me. I’ve always loved reading science stuff, so I found this website to be an absolute playground! Oh, Danny’s shed is in there somewhere too.

So to sum up the lessons learnt this week. Science = good. Adobe = good. Holidays = even better. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a mega Hollywood blockbuster or music produced at home, all you need is passion!

Only Trevor could see…

Dans Le Noir is a concept restaurant with venues all over the world (including East London), where guests dine “in the dark” hosted by blind waiters. Our host for the night was a young, enthusiastic guy named Trevor. It’s somewhat daunting at first when you enter a pitch-dark room, but slowly you begin to discover…
