INSURANCE INDUSTRY GET CLIMATEWISE WITH JACOB BAILEY
Marketing and design agency Jacob Bailey has completed the successful creation of the corporate identity for ClimateWise, an initiative set up by a group of leading insurance companies and organisations in the insurance industry as a result of work initiated by HRH the Prince of Wales.
The award winning agency, which has an impressive portfolio of brand creation and implementation, was approached by the ABI (Association of British Insurers) via their existing client, AXA, who are founder members of the ClimateWise project. Jacob Bailey has also since designed and managed the launch advertising campaign for ClimateWise, running in both national, financial and insurance trade press and website www.climatewise.org.uk.
As a sector that enables businesses and individuals to manage risk including long-term risks such as climate-change, 17 leading companies from the insurance industry pooled together to form the ClimateWise initiative. Following the launch campaign participation rapidly rose to 38 companies. Each signatory to the initiative has pledged to individually and collectively reduce the economy’s and society’s long-term risk from a threat which is already starting to make an impact. They intend not only to reduce the environmental impact of their own businesses and report on their actions in support of the ClimateWise Principles, but also to raise awareness amongst their customers and help inform public policy making.
Of the newly created brand, Alan Leaman of the ABI said: “When we saw the initial name and logo ideas from Jacob Bailey, we knew they’d got it right. Once we had chosen our route, they worked quickly to develop the brand and created a comprehensive set of guidelines for our communications teams – all in time for the launch in September. We have been delighted with the professionalism that Jacob Bailey apply to their work, and look forward to working with them on future projects.”
Managing Director of Jacob Bailey, Shaun Bailey, said: “We were extremely pleased to be involved in the branding of such a high profile initiative covering such a crucial issue. Climate change is a phenomenon that is affecting us all and ClimateWise will help bring it to the forefront of people’s minds both at work and at home.”
