Navigating Success

Creating a brand strategy and identity that redefine this historic school.

The Problem

The Royal Hospital School has a proud Naval history, but how does this become relevant to parents and pupils in the world today.

The Solution

Following an in-depth consultation process where we interviewed teachers, parents, pupils and ex-pupils and other interested stakeholders we landed on a proposition of ‘Navigating Success’. This encapsulated the positioning territory of ‘helping individuals find what they are good at’.

In collaboration with the project steering committee, we developed a simplified logo, and a fresh brand identity that presents a more modern, forward-looking school. The Naval influence is always there, but this now takes a more secondary role.

The new brand has been rolled out across all channels and collateral, presenting the school in a fresh light, whilst differentiating them against their many competitors.

What the client said

Jacob Bailey have provided us with their expertise, creativity and imagination but most significantly they have listened carefully to our comments and as result, it has felt like a very collaborative process creating an outcome that we will enjoy using with confidence.
